Aam Aadmi Party leader Durgesh Pathak has blamed the BJP for the 27 lives that were lost in a massive fire at an office building in Delhi’s Mundka on May 13.

He said that the owner of the building, Manish Lakra, had links with the BJP. He posted a picture on Twitter and claimed that Manish Lakra was driving the car of former North Delhi mayor and BJP leader Master Azad Singh.

Further, Durgesh Pathak said that Manish Lakra was running his factory at the building in Delhi’s Mundka ‘illegally’ under the patronage of the BJP.

The Delhi Police arrested Manish Lakra in connection with the fire incident on Sunday. He had been absconding until then.

Twenty-seven people died after a massive fire broke out at an office building in Mundka in Delhi at around 4.45 pm on Friday.

The four-storey building was used as office space for multiple companies. The fire broke out on the first floor of the building, which served as the office for a company that manufactures CCTV cameras and routers.

According to the Delhi Police’s FIR, the building did not have fire safety protocol in place. There was only one entry and exit gate for over 100 employees working in the Mundka building.
