Candidates appearing from the ‘Open Market’ category will have 160 questions for 160 marks. The questions will be based on Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability (50 questions), General Knowledge, Current Affairs and English Language with Special Emphasis on Grammar and Vocabulary (50 questions) and Insurance and Financial Marketing Awareness with special emphasis on knowledge of Life Insurance and Financial Sector (60 marks).

LIC agents will get 100 questions for 160 marks, questions will be from Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability (20 questions), General Knowledge, Current Affairs and English Language with Special Emphasis on Grammar and Vocabulary (20 questions) and Elements of Insurance and Marketing of Insurance (60 questions)

Candidates appearing under the LIC Employee category will get 100 questions for 160 marks. The have questions from Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability (20 questions), General Knowledge, Current Affairs and English Language with Special Emphasis on Grammar and Vocabulary (20 questions) Practice and Principle of Insurance, Marketing (60 questions).
